flexible and wearable tv coat

While not exactly the type of high definition TV display one would expect from a modern television set, this is one flexible and wearable display that has been configured to be worn as a coat. Called the video coat, it comes with a large matrix of individual pixels capable of displaying different colors that form the screen on the wearable TV screen.

Interestingly enough, unlike the display screens of today the coat does away with the need of a backlight to light up the video. However it looks more complicated and messy compared to the much newer flexible displays that have already shown up since. I guess it’s probably a prototype so hopefully these guys will be able to come up with something even better in the future.
