Just like a page from a pop-up storybook, this incredible pop-up Lego set built by Lego genius talapz lives in a class of its own. From the base of a 2D image the contents of the box magically unfold to reveal a 3D model of an existing Buddhist Zen temple in Japan!
Every piece of the design has to be designed and built so that the adjacent pieces fold flat but be ready to assemble themselves when they rise up.
I almost couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw this video. Now that’s a work of art, Lego art.
