Arm Powered Quadcycle Takes the Work Out of Your Legs
If travelling on a emission-free transportation such as a bicycle or a pair rollerblades looks a little too common, check out this special arm-powered four-wheeled vehicle.
Instead of being leg-powered, this Champiot quadcycle requires a rowing motion to set it moving. This is probably suitable for rowing enthusiasts who would love to have a specialized full-body workout while travelling on the streets instead of heading off to a lake or hitting the gym.
The design looks rather ingenious and it is almost an exact reversal of muscle coordination compared to the traditional way of cycling. From the picture above, I believe that the ‘rower’ of the quadcycle will need to use his/her legs to control the direction instead of using arms.
The cost of owning this unusual transportation equipment is set at $999 a piece.
