Touch panel makers have revealed that their products are currently undergoing sampling by Asus for the next generation Asus Eee PC with a touchscreen feature.

The Asus Eee PC with touchscreen feature is said to be available on the 2nd generation Eee PCs with 9″ screens. Sources also stated the BOM of including a touchscreen function is under US$15, which means that an Asus Eee PC with a touchscreen probably isn’t going to be sold at a ridiculously high price.
