Basket, Is That A Building?
This building built to look like a giant basket is the headquarters of Longaberger Company, a company that deals with lifestyle products such as baskets, pottery and specialty foods based in Newark, Ohio in the United States.
The basket building idea was conceived by Dave Longaberger, who wanted all of Longaberger’s buildings to be shaped like baskets. However, he only managed to see the completion of one of the buildings in his lifetime. Further basket building plans were later scrapped and ‘dropped from the basket’ by his daughters.
