This is a DIY virtual reality device that makes use of a box, a HTC Magic mobile phone with its built-in compass and Google Street View. When the user’s head turns around, the view on the phone pans around in sync as well.

Now one doesn’t need to leave the house to travel the world thanks to this invention. During the tough times, that is.
