Clear Tape on Frosted Glass Trick

Frosted glass was invented to produce a sense of privacy by disrupting vision while allowing ambient light to pass through, but after looking at this video people should probably think twice before installing it solely for the purpose of privacy. As seen in the video, simply attaching a piece of clear tape makes frosted glass transparent enough to see through.

It seems that the glue from the tape acts like a polish, which smoothens out the roughness of frosted glass. Hence the surface of the frosted glass becomes much clearer. Scotch tape has to be applied on whichever side the frosting is on to produce the effect. So if both sides are frosted, just attach tape to the two corresponding sides and it’ll work.
