Color Picker Pen – Pick and Replicate Colors Off Any Surface

This is a pretty interesting product idea, a color picker pen that automatically detects and replicates the color off any surface. This idea conceptualized by designer Park Jinsun is the real-life equivalent of the color-picker tool found in most graphics editing programs such as Adobe Photoshop.

How this color-picker pen is supposed to work is that once the in-built scanner is activated, the intelligent processing chip gathers information about the color of the scanned surface and mixes the correct amount of RGB colored ink stored within the pen for the result – a perfect reproduction of the original color to be used.

Though this concept comes to us as a little too far-fetched at the moment, it could one day make its way into human everyday life in the future; or at least into high-value industries such as fashion design.
