Dimmable Energy Saving Bulbs Launched
Usually when you have a light dimmer switch in your house, you would have a normal high energy consuming bulb at the other end. Not only is it inefficient at converting electrical power into useful light, its carbon emission signature is relatively large.
The dimmable fluorescent light bulb was launched in UK on September 24th. A compact fluorescent bulb is more energy efficient compared to incandescents, typically up to 75% in energy savings.
Therefore if you are ready to adopt these new energy saving bulbs and use them on Christmas, you will help the Earth and your future generations by ensuring that there will be more Christmases left to celebrate.
