Have you ever wondered how it would feel to be live inside a video game? You will be able to get one step closer to your imagination, with the item below.

Force Feedback Gaming Vest

More about the FPS Vest after the jump.

The TN Games FPS Vest, designed and adapted from a device for remote investigation in the field of medicine, is a gaming vest that allows you to make use of an additional sense, that is the sense of touch for deeper immersion in games.

With it, you should be able to feel everything that hits you, as 8 active zones mimic the directional force of ammo and shockwaves hurled towards your character.

The vest is also capable of reproducing poking sensations or the feeling of a tap on the shoulder, highly ideal for fps horror games. Terrifying indeed.

3rd Space Incursion and a version of Call of Duty II bundled in the package will demonstrate the gaming vest’s capabilities. Currently, patches for the games such as Quake 3, Quake 4 and Doom 3 compatible with the vest have been released.

This gaming vest is available online via TN Games’ online store. It comes at price of SGD$248.87 (US$169.99) and starts shipping in November 2007. Now I’m curious at how it would feel to get shot through by a railgun.
