First Pictures Of The Asus Eee PC With 8-inch Screen
With the announcement of the confirmed 8-inch and 8.9-inch screens of the Asus Eee PC at CES 2008, now here are the first pictures of the prototype Asus Eee PC with 8-inch screen. Gone is the black border of the screen that is seen in the 7-inch model and the display border of the 8″ model is now covered in the same material as the rest of the casing, giving it a much cleaner look.
Pictured below is the 8″ model on the right and the 7″ model on the left.
Although the screen size has been increased, the resolution still stays at 800×400. Do note that there’s another model with an 8.9-inch screen yet to make its appearance, so stay tuned.

Is the keyboard of the 8-inch asus laptop the same size as the 7-inch? I tested the 7-inch-screen asus, today. The keyboard was a bit too “tiny” for me. So, I think I’ll have to settle for a light-weight laptop with a “standard size” keyboard.
