Hollywood, if you’re hearing, not many of us care about which DVD format will win the dogfight. What people want is great content and entertainment. So while the DVD format wars continue on, makers such as LG are in gear to launch its ‘Super Multi Blue Drive’ supporting both formats for the Korean market and the rest of the world soon.

The ‘Super Multi Blue Drive’ by LG supports both Blu-ray and HD-DVD discs. It not only supports the reading of both rival formats, recording can be performed on 50GB Blu-ray 30GB HD-DVD blanks as well.

The suggested retail price of the LG Super Multi Blue Drive is at 490, 000 KRW (SGD$761).
