Guy Plays Piano Music with Six iPhones

iphone-piano-music

Many are aware that a piano app for the iPhone exists and so does this guy Yann Tiersen, a French composer and musician who came up with the idea of laying six Apple iPhones side by side for playing his piece of music!

The small keys look almost impossible to play on but he manages to pull it off albeit a few hiccups which is probably understandable.

Maybe for his next act he should rig them up to a foot pedal and increase the number of iPhones too.

Ehrm … FYI, the “french” composer is speaking Dutch.

And although it is theoretically possible for a french composer to speak Dutch, I consider it highly implausible. Mainly considering the fact that his accent is flawlessly Dutch in stead of French.

At the beginning of the video when he is about to start, someone is trying to call. At that point he calls: “We hebben een beller! … ” and then some mild religious swearing. This roughly translates to: “We have a caller! … ” and some mild religious swearing.

And he is probably swearing a bit because he thinks it’s unbelievable that right at THAT moment someone decides it’s the right time to make a call. Ah well …
