Heinz Beanzawave USB Powered Mini Desktop Microwave Oven

No one could have imagine this high wattage electrical appliance would have made it to the desktop in a miniature form, but apparently the people from Heinz have made it possible. This is the Heinz Beanzawave, a mini microwave made specially to heat up Heinz Snap Pots, a single-serving baked bean snack.

Using cell-phone and radio frequencies, this mini microwave is able to heat up snacks using the relatively low power output of the humble USB port.

Currently the Heinz Beanzawave is a prototype but the company will decide on the response of the public before deciding to send it into the market. Small as it is, this mini microwave’s slated $160 price tag doesn’t make this a cheap and affordable gadget for everyone though.
