Here’s an interesting idea to disguise an iPod to attract as little attention as possible, by encasing it in a retro Sony Walkman player! Even the clear plastic flap where you peep through to check how much tape is left is just an illusion.
Now, no one will know what’s really inside and find the treasure, unless they are curious at what type of music a person carrying a walkman would listen to these days.

Has it not occurred that the white headphones and cable might give something away. What you need is a set of those old retro mufflers!

Those headphones use the same jack as you would use on the old walkman, so it doesn’t really give much away. If you’re really concerned though you could always use different headphones junior.

yeah. i’d be much more likely to steal an old school walkman than an ipod.

Getting inside it to skip the song would be a trial.

heh: yes, better off to put it in a
“GE” or “Realistic” brand cassette player.
mmm: radio shack: the sign of quality…
Great idea, though. Makes me want to give it a go!
