The maid taxi service was a service that started for disabled people. The get-up includes a taxi with a beautiful maid that helps disabled people get on and off taxis. However instead of having real disabled people getting on the cabs, otakus had been flocking from all over Japan to get to use the service, eventually bringing the service to a halt.

The otakus from all over the country, attempting to get to use the service showed up with disguises, bandages and pretended to have broken bones. Eventually the maid taxis had become an otaku obsession instead of being able to serve the needy. Hence the service had to be shut down.
