This cool looking chess set brings the fight of the greatest chess players to the depths of space. It’s the Star Wars chess set of course.

If you’re thinking it’s just a chess set off the shelf of some department store, you can’t be more wrong. It’s actually a custom build by Brandon Griffith who made it entirely out of Lego pieces!

Star Wars character mini-figs were used as different chess pieces, obviously from the many different themed packages that Lego has been selling over the years.

He also plans to build separate chess sets to represent each movie from the Star Wars lineage of movies, and this particular one based on the first chronological story "A New Hope".
