About a month back we got a heads up from LG about their upcoming GD900 phone with the world’s first transparent keypad. There wasn’t much details then except that the phone comes with a revolutionary illuminated transparent keypad. At CTIA Las Vegas, the GD900 made its appearance with its full specs reported from the floor.

Firstly the transparent keypad of the phone not only allows for dialing, but also supports gesture-based commands with the trace of a finger. Besides the touch-sensitive keypad, the main display is touch capable so it supports the usual touch features as well.
Other phone features include an 8-megapixel camera and an accelerometer, which makes this mobile phone stand out as a techie fashion piece.

The phone might offer alot of great features but in term of usability and quality, I prefer Nokia and Sony Ericsson.
