Light-Up Rocker Switch Art
Here’s one cool piece of art that involves switches that light up and having 5,000 of them lined up to fill a panel that lies flat on the wall like a display screen. The light that comes from each switch can be independently switched on or off just like how we do in our daily lives. This turns it into a huge light-up display where each switch acts like a pixel on the screen.
This electrical-enabled artwork by Valentin Ruhry is made from light-up rocker switches that act just like LED bulbs on a dot-matrix display board so monochrome text and graphics can be shown simply by making the LEDs/switches sitting in the right position light up as needed.
