Fans of FPS should know the grand-daddy of FPS which is Doom, and gamers are also no strangers to Mario so this re-creation of a Mario level in Doom will look rather interesting to many of us. Instead of going around and hopping on the heads of monsters, Mario goes around blasting them off with a gun in 3D.

The Mario level is made by Doom_master1122 and you can check out the website which he created just days ago here. Currently Mario Doom is the only piece of work being showcased. This video has made it onto the Digg front page and many tech blogs today. Hopefully with the popularity of this video he will be motivated to create a few more.
