Tired of watching endless cartoons and illustrations of vehicles that transform into ass-whooping robots? Here’s a Japanese video showing the real thing – a real-life transforming robot!

Watch this robot move around in its utility-mode, later transforming into bot-mode independantly and making a couple of moves before turning back into its prior vehicle stage:

Now that’s a pretty cool robot. The ironic thing is that we could be the first to clap and cheer at this potential ancestral machine of a future bot-army that will eventually wipe out humans from the face of the earth and turn it into their dumping ground.
