Wiipod – An MP3 Player in a Wiimote Controller
Japanese modder Goteking has come up with another mash-up, a Wiimote that conceals a new function – an MP3 Player! While the MP3 player inside distinctly looks like an iPod shuffle, it’s actually one of those cheap and fake imitation products.
Let’s not focus on the product used in this mod but on the work he has done cramming the player into the Wiimote’s battery compartment with an opening for the earphone jack. Nicely done, although the entire Wiimote is basically rendered useless as there are no batteries.
Consider an upgraded version with the buttons on the Wiimote made available to be able to control the MP3 player. That will totally rock.
